My favourite Blue Cave Tour from Hvar is also the highest-rated one which is the Blue Cave & Vis Island speedboat tour from Hvar which has over 350 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ratings.

Review which says "This is one of the best excursions I have ever done. The whole day was perfect. Our guides were extremely helpful and accommodating. They really went out of their way to ensure that everyone had a good time and could enjoy the water. There was plenty of time to go swimming and the Blue Cave is beautiful."

When booking a tour, I always like to go for the tried and trusted option. I don’t want to book the tour with no reviews, I want to book the tour that has got the seal of approval from previous travellers.

And this tour certainly does! It has passed the test of time with flying colours are the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Travellers before both me and you have loved this tour, but I also loved it too.

As the above review says, it’s one of the best excursions you will ever do. That’s what the Blue Cave offers.

The Blue Cave is incredible to visit. It’s hard to put into words. Seeing it for yourself and being surrounded by the illuminating blue colour is a feeling you will never forget. It’s an extraordinary feeling, I’ve never experienced anything similar.

But the Blue Cave isn’t all that you get to visit. You also get to visit the Blue Lagoon, which is one of Croatia’s most popular places to visit. On top of the Green Cave, Stiniva Cove and the choice between the Pakleni Islands, Hvar or Vis.

It’s the tour of a lifetime and it’s clear to see why it books out so quickly. I can’t recommend it enough, one of my favourite days in all of my time in Croatia.

If you want to see the Blue Cave and more, book the Blue Cave & Vis Island speedboat tour from Hvar well in advance to secure your spot!

Another highly-rated tour is the Blue cave and Pakleni islands tour from Hvar which on top of visiting the Blue Cave, also visits the Pakleni islands, in my opinion, the prettiest islands of Croatia. I remember seeing them for the first time- it was like seeing the definition of a tropical paradise in real life.

Review which says "10/10. Croatia is something special and this trip was too! Fun, unique and truly something I’ve never experienced before. Amazing boat and better people!"

Of course, like on any of these Blue Cave Hvar Tours, the Blue Cave is the main attraction. The phenomenon of the Blue Cave is remarkable, and the whole experience is one of a kind.

If you don’t know already, the Blue Cave is pretty tight to get into, and the boats are small with a maximum of 12 people, and you need to duck your head to get in. All of this is part of the experience and makes the Blue Cave even more exciting to visit. It feels like you are entering a whole new world.

But if you’re claustrophobic, this might not be the right type of tour for you. Instead, I’d recommend taking a different boat tour or just skipping the part that goes into the Blue Cave.

As part of the tour, you also visit the Pakleni islands which as I mentioned, are the most picturesque Croatian islands in my opinion. They look so tropical and beautiful, and exploring them for yourself on a boat, in the water and on the beaches is something not to be missed out on.

The tour also visits the Green Cave, Stiniva Cove and Budikovac Island. And of course, starts and ends on Hvar.

But visiting the Blue Cave makes this tour worth it alone, as the review says, it’s something special.

So make sure to book your Blue cave and Pakleni islands tour from Hvar tour as soon as possible because it would be a sin to visit Hvar and not take a trip to the cave.

The Blue Cave is something straight out of a fairy tale, and what better way to experience it than by visiting the Blue Cave along with some of the Adriatic Sea’s most naturally beautiful spots? That’s exactly what the BLUE CAVE & 5 islands tour from Hvar tour offers.

Review which says "We had a fantastic day out on this trip. Tony, the boat driver was really friendly and made the trip for us. He took us to different islands to stop off at and showed us different features along the way. The blue and green caves were great, being able to swim in the green one was a highlight. The whole day was a great experience which I would highly recommend. Thanks Tony!"

The natural beauty of the Blue Cave is uncontested. The illumination of the blue is unlike anything else you will find in Croatia (except the Green cave of course). The dancing blue light gives you a completely immersive experience as you are surrounded by blue.

The cave walls, the sea, the boat and your tour group, everything is a shade of blue. It’s like living in the world with the Smurfs!

Getting to visit the Blue Cave is a privilege, but getting to visit the Blue Cave and 5 additional islands is unthinkable. I loved every single attraction on this tour, and I can’t believe you get to experience so many natural gems in just one day.

The Blue Cave, the Green Cave, the Budikovac Island, Pakleni Islands and Stiniva Cove all in one tour…what more can you ask for?!

By the way, Stiniva Cove has been voted the most beautiful beach in Europe. And for good reason. The once caved-in sea-cave makes for a stunning cove with a gorgeous beach and stunning landscapes. It’s a true paradise, and this tour takes you right to it. One of the best bits is that you swim into the cove as boats don’t fit. I felt like I was living a dream.

All in all, this is guaranteed to be an amazing tour. So if you want to visit the Blue Cave and 5 other unforgettable stops, make sure to check out the BLUE CAVE & 5 islands tour from Hvar tour.

Review which says "It was our favorite activity of our entire trip throughout Croatia! We loved our tour guides and everyone we met on the boat was so fun and nice! They took us to some private spots where only they knew how to swim underwater and get into certain caves! Would highly
recommend!"

This 7-and-a-half-hour adventure takes you to some of the best spots along the Adriatic Sea. It’s really shot up in popularity in the last year, I’m editing this post in January 2024 and the tour has more than 300 reviews- it had just over 100 when I last checked before summer!

As the review above says, the tour guides are really knowledgeable about the area and know some secret spots and caves where you can swim that other tours aren’t able to visit.

And of course, you get to visit the Blue Cave too. The Blue Cave tour itself lasts about 20 minutes to half an hour, as it is done on the smaller boats mentioned before, and it isn’t by your tour company.

It’s worth noting that most tours do not include admission into the Blue Cave, and you have to pay this upon arrival. The prices vary depending on when you visit, as it is more expensive during peak season, in the summer months.

When I took my tour, this did annoy me a bit as I didn’t know in advance, but it’s just one of those things you need to factor into your Croatia budget.

Nonetheless, the Blue Cave is more than worth the money. It’s such a mesmerising 20 minutes and you will be left with memories to last a lifetime.

This tour also gives you free time to swim and explore at all of the stops for yourself. If this sounds like a bit of you, make sure to book the From Hvar: Vis Island and Blue Cave Speedboat Tour.

Last but by no means least of the Blue Cave Hvar Tours from Hvar is the From Hvar: Blue and Green Cave Day Tour, it too has nearly 200 reviews, showing it’s been tried and tested by many travellers before yourself.

Review which says "Nicely organized trip! Saw both green and blue caves. Got to swim in Stiniva Bay and another bay in Pakleni, cruise around the yachts in
Palmiziana, stop in Koniza for lunch and browsing shops. They even had goggles on board which came in handy when wanting to see the beautiful fish while we swam."

It’s one thing being able to see the natural beauty of the areas you are taken to during a Blue Cave tour, but it’s another thing learning about the area.

The guides for this tour are known for their knowledge and interaction with members of the tour group, and their helpfulness is summed up perfectly in the above review where they have goggles which you can borrow to go snorkelling.

And trust me, you will want to go snorkelling. Croatia is one of the best countries in the world for snorkelling in my opinion. I love snorkelling and I’ve snorkelled in so many countries in Europe and Asia, and Croatia has some of the best I’ve seen.

Also, the speedboat rides in themselves are amazing. Riding on a speedboat never gets old, and the thrill of speeding across the sea past the most beautiful islands ever is a moment not to be forgotten, and an opportunity not to be missed out on.

If you love taking nice pictures, then this is also the tour for you. There are plenty of stops for you to take nice photos, and the crew are more than willing to take photos for you. You’ll leave with an album that will leave Instagram feeling jealous!

This is by far the most highly rated tour of the Blue Cave, and I can personally vouch for it.. Five Island Speedboat Tour Featuring the Blue Cave and Hvar has over 3500 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐reviews. There’s no tour better than this one.

Review which says "Amazing, amazing… amazing!! This full day
excursion was most definitely the highlight of my trip. Starting from Split, we went on a high-speed boat and visited The Blue Cave, Hvar, The Green Cave, The Blue Lagoon and the small fishing village of Vis. I will definitely recommend this experience to anyone as our guides Mia and Mario were so attentive and kind."

It’s my favourite tour I have ever taken, this one specifically. I can’t recommend it highly enough- it’s incredible.

The tour leaves from either Split or Trogir so you have a choice which I like, and it takes you to some of Croatia’s most popular spots along the Adriatic coast.

You get to visit the main attraction, the Blue Cave of course, which is incredible. The cave is extraordinary and it’s truly hard to describe what it’s like to visit the cave. You need to experience it for yourself to understand!

And of course, the tour also visits Hvar, one of Croatia’s prettiest quaint islands. You’ll get around 3 hours on Hvar to explore the town for yourself and see what you can discover. What’s good about this tour is it’s very laid back and allows you to spend your time as you please. I like having time on tours to do what I want to do.

On top of the Blue Cave and Hvar, you also get to visit Komiza, Stiniva Cove and Budikovac Island, more commonly known as the Blue Lagoon.

The Blue Lagoon and the Blue Cave in one tour is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Many people take Blue Lagoon tours from Split just to see the lagoon, so to have it included in this tour is exceptional.

As the above review says, “amazing, amazing, amazing”, and I couldn’t have put it better myself. Make sure to book the Five Island Speedboat Tour Featuring the Blue Cave and Hvar tour, as there’s no tour that comes close.

Another extremely highly-rated tour is the Blue Cave and Hvar Tour – 5 Islands Tour from Split and Trogir which has just over 1700 5-star reviews. It’s impressive how there are so many tours with such high ratings. You are spoilt for choice!

Review which says "If I could do this trip again tomorrow, I would. It was so so fun and we got to see the blue cave and lots of other caves! Also got to explore the amazing town of Hvar. We had the best guides Lea and Anthony!! They were very friendly and had a great music playlist and kept us entertained!!"
Review by karli_n, read more reviews here.

Blue Cave and Hvar Tour – 5 Islands Tour from Split and Trogir is another tour which has shot up in popularity this year, gaining nearly 1000 extra 5-star reviews in the summer.

Like the last Hvar tour & Blue Cave, this tour leaves from both Split and Trogir. It’s great to have the flexibility to begin the tour at either town, as both are so popular amongst tourists. And for good reason- they’re both straight out of a fairy tale.

The first line on the tour’s description is “The Blue Cave is the highlight of this tour” and that could not be more true. You will be telling stories about the Blue Cave for years, and decades to come. Anyone visiting Croatia needs to see it for themself.

Of course, Hvar has a pretty big focus too, and this is reflected by the 3 hours of free time you get to explore the island for yourself. Hvar is so pretty and you will wish you had even longer, but 3 hours is more than enough to have a walk about, see the main sights and have a nice meal too. It’s one of my favourite islands, for sure.

In addition to these two main attractions, you also visit Komiza, Stiniva Cove and Budikovac Island. Once again, to include both the Blue Cave and the Blue Lagoon in one tour is unbelievable. Both are must-visits and to tick them both off in one day is unheard of.

It’s something not to be missed out on so make sure to book your place on the Blue Cave and Hvar Tour – 5 Islands Tour from Split and Trogir before it sells out.
